Le Soleil dans la Main !
Founded in 2002 by friends, this association became a development NGO in 2009.
Currently, it is made up of 59 employees who ensure the smooth running of projects in Burkina Faso , as well as around thirty volunteers who contribute to fundraising in Luxembourg .
Le Soleil dans la Main wants to share its time , knowledge and energy to help the most vulnerable.

Its areas of intervention:

Vocational training : the objective of these actions is to train up to the highest level to open up the field of possibilities and promote Burkina Faso's knowledge.

Education : this involves providing everyone with the opportunity to access knowledge by learning to read, write, and count, with the aim of becoming an informed actor.

Food security: the actions taken aim to support sub-Saharan agriculture and thus increase food security to guarantee the necessary nutrition for all.

The environment: the goal is to preserve the environment in a harsh and fragile climatic context.

Water: this involves facilitating access to drinking water, but also to drinking or household water in the most vulnerable areas.

Health: these actions consist of educating about health prevention and facilitating access to care by supporting the government in its health or territorial coverage.

Today, Le Soleil dans la Main , in collaboration with Lëtz Coffee , offers you a specialty coffee from Rwanda that is Fairtrade and organic. This gourmet coffee is produced by the Dukunde Kawa cooperative, located in the town of Musasa, in the heart of Rwanda, and then freshly roasted in small batches using traditional methods by Lëtz Coffee in Koetschette.
So, by purchasing this co-branded coffee , you are supporting both the Rwandan Fairtrade cooperative , the Soleil dans la Main projects in Burkina Faso, and also our local and Luxembourgish company Lëtz Coffee .
