The Terroir
Limmu Kossa's terroir is located in the Oromia region, 80 km from the city of Jimma. Its rich soils are covered with a forest of diverse and ancient species, giving this coffee its unique character.
The name "Limmu," traditionally used for washed coffee from the Jimma region, comes from the name of the first washing station. For distinction, natural coffees were called "Jimma."
Harvesting and Processing
Produced by farmers using ancient farming techniques, this coffee is harvested manually, cherry by cherry, and is prepared by the two Dabessa brothers in their washing station.
